It is month of February and Love is in the air for most of you who celebrate Valentine's Day. Even though I do not believe in celebrating just one day for love or parents or friendship I am also not someone judging others for celebrating these days because whenever someone celebrates an occasion with love and joy it just adds a beautiful energy to the collective.
Valentine's Day celebrates romantic love but now it is no longer a day to profess ones love to their beloved but has become a stressful week long obligation of gifts & dining to make their partner feel special.
So this Valentine's Day Dear Ones though single or in a relationship let us promise ourselves to let it be a day of celebration of love and romance rather than the idea or whims of it or how fancy can the celebrations be.
Now the obvious question arises that how do we do that - we can truly celebrate love and romance when we let go of our traumas, guilt , attachments etc. and open ourselves to not just giving but receiving love too. For this we need to heal our vulnerabilities and other issues. For every person and for every issue the approach has to different some issues could easily be dealt with, with the support of friends & family and for some you require help of others to assist you. So allow your self to heal by diving into the possibilities of creation of beautiful, loving, caring and nurturing relationship where both the partners are each others strength.
For this we also need to let go of the taboos and definition of love and expectations of relationship set by our religion, culture, family and media and work on oneself to become a living embodiment of love with wisdom. Yes the combo of love with wisdom is required so that one does not fall a victim to manipulation and deceit. It is not a one day process but a journey of self-discovery and in this journey you find someone who is compatible, loving, caring and gives you the space to create your own life.
Reading this some of you might say I am trying to bring the chaotic mind in space of love but it is not so. Our mind is just one component of our brain what I am asking you is to allow your wiser self to merge with love aspect of you which radiates love, benevolence, empowerment and potency.
Some of you might read this article on Valentine's Day while some of you might read it later but I would just like to say that you do not need any special occasion to work on your self to get what you want and be who you choose to be.
